That’s why we’re bringing this experience together. Fly into Newman, meet your Karijini guide and let the ancient landscape unfold around you. No long drive from Perth. No hopping between stays. Just four days with space to explore and breathe.

Gorges & swimming

We hit all the hot spots: Fern Pool, Fortescue Falls, Hamersley Gorge and the Spa Pool. Time to explore, soak it in and simply be in nature.

Views to remember

Karijini Visitor Centre, Knox and Joffre lookouts, and Oxer Lookout — you simply can’t miss these incredible landscapes.

Food Inclusions

Buffet brekkie is included & lunch on both exploring days, including tea and coffee on day two. Less organising, more enjoying. We are able to cater for dietary requests.

For three nights, Karijini Eco Retreat is our base. After exploring the gorges, return for a steamy hot shower under the stars and pull down the blinds for that fresh outback air.

Accommodation in this part of the Pilbara is VERY limited and hard to book. Staying here is part of what makes this experience so special, & we’ve got it sorted!

Arrive. Exhale. You’re here.

  • Land together at Newman Airport, meet and greet, then we board the coach.
  • Drive straight to Karijini Eco Retreat, arriving for check-in and dinner.

Thursday · 2 September

Breathtaking Gorges

  • Leaving from the Eco Retreat, you’ll get your first glimpse of these incredible landscapes.
  • Spend the morning at Dales Gorge where we will soak in the magic of Fern Pool and Fortescue Falls.
  • Lunch provided (with a view)!
  • In the afternoon we’ll go to the look-outs to explore the wide-open wonder at Knox and Joffre lookouts.
  • Back at the retreat by mid-afternoon for downtime before a group dinner (not included).

Friday · 3 September

Let yourself slow down.

  • This morning we’ll be leaving for standout Karijini attraction, Hamersley Gorge and the Spa Pool. This is our relaxed swimming day to soak it all in.
  • Lunch served in the gorge.
  • Take in the awe of Oxer Lookout on the way back.
  • Plenty of time to chill at the Eco Retreat for an evening of stargazing and dinner (not included).

Saturday · 4 September

Home, but with much more magic!

  • We’ll leave off in the morning for Newman Airport (approximately 2 hours 45 minutes’ drive).
  • Fly out of Newman, taking the memories home with you.
